We have an excellent Opening with one of our MNC Engineering Company
Job Location :Bangalore
The scope of this position involves the design and development of parts,sub-assemblies & assemblies specific to the our client products.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Generate, evaluate, analyze, and develop design concepts for Racks & Protocols, components and assemblies to achieve new product requirements and current product improvements
2.Create documentation through CAD drawings & material bills using PLM to convey product designs to production, suppliers and customers.
3.Participate in Design review, detailed drawings Review and material bills.
4.Work on sub-assembly, main assembly and kits design and development for Racks.
5. Interact with onsite engineers to get the inputs and update the project status.
6.Engage in self-learning and develop new skills to improve productivity.
7.Minimum supervision of daily work schedules and activities.Provide updates on progress or significant project issues to Supervisor and/or other team members.
1Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with min 2-3 years of industry experience
2Must be fully competent in 3D Cad modeling,assembly and piece part construction, (preference given to knowledge of Solid edge).
3Knowledge of Engineering change management (ECN) and Bill of material systems, (Preference will be given to person with hands on experience with Team Center /Windchill PLM
4Must be fully through with sheetmetal design standards / material standards, manufacturing process etc
5.Basic understanding about new product development process
6.Creativity and analytical skills, to be a team player with good communication skills.
