 IT Ovation Support Engineer

Job Description

*DescriptionThis position is responsible for supporting Ovation IT related jobs. This position may also require travel to front office as well as customer sites. Support Global Enginerring Center (GEC) application teams to make sure the availability of Ovation system (Physical and Virtual). Maintain logs to keep tracking on system utilization and available spares. Candidate should have a basic knowledge of operating system, network and virtualization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To handle entire day to day System Hardware and networking issues of office.
  • Familiar in troubleshooting, network maintenance, system back up, software installation etc.
  • knowledge of domain server, domain policies, Roles and Features, DNS, DHCP, IPV4/IPV6 will be advantage.
    • Should able to install and work of Windows-7, 10, 2008, 2012.
    • Should have knowledge of small and medium size networks including L2, switches configuration and all networking components.
    • knowledge of VMware virtualization and storage management will be advantage.
    • Follow Department Quality processes and procedures.
    • Good in IT communications.
    • Should able to perform work at sites/front offices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office, Access, Word, Power Point and Excel etc.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

    • Engineering degree in Computers and Information Technology / MCA with minimum 2 years of experience.
