What will you contribute

Reporting to the Cavion Development Manager, QA Test Engineer creates and executes Test Cases and Test Scripts to ensure software products meet design specifications and product quality standards. He will be responsible for maintaining the QA test environment as well as the existing Test Cases and Test Scripts. He will work closely together with the team and be an integral part of product delivery from planning to release. Efficiently utilize your Manual and Automation Testing skills to meet the Product Requirements.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as a
QA Test Engineerwill include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create Test Cases & Test Scripts from product specifications.
- Executes Test Cases and Test Script and compiles results.
- Maintain the existing Test Cases and Test Scripts
- Sets up and maintains QA testing environments. Will have to run Over-Nights daily on the Core to keep them up to date
- Qualify Customer reported issues and create User Stories and inform the team as per the severity of the issue.
- Tracks defects from detection to resolution and works with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Communicates with stakeholders on product issues.
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of existing products, operations or systems.
- Reviews product documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Provides support to stakeholders prior to GA release of software.
- Assist the QA team to prepare the test plan for each Release.
- Provide testing effort estimates.
RequiredSkills andExperience:
---------------------------------------------------
- Should have 2-5years of experience in Software Testing.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in Automation Testing
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in Web Application testing.
- Must have at least six months of experience in Mobile Testing.
- Experience in the financial industry preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills effective customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques including the software development lifecycle.
- Effective planning and organizational skills, with an attention to detail.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think out of the box for process improvements.
- Ability to work with specialized software tools.
- Ability to execute test cases and test scripts for commercial software applications, document expected results vs. actual results, and record software defects.
- Knowledge of automated testing software tools with ability to design and develop automated testing programs.
- Working experience in Robot Framework andAppium preferred.
- Knowledge of the Agile software development methodology. SAFe methodologies preferred.
