We are currently seeking Program Managers with experience in Agile program management, product launch management, transformation and change management, and organizational dynamics to be part of PayPal's Global Risk Team. PayPal s Risk platform keeps customer s money, data and experiences safe and secure every day. Our mission is to provide trusted experiences for good customers, reduce fraud and deliver financial value. You will be responsible for creating and launching end to end solutions on a world class Risk platform for 300M+ consumers and 25+M merchants across the globe.
As Program Manager, you will:
Drive the coordinated management of large, complex programs over a finite period of time in order to achieve specific business goals. Ensure the timely delivery of business value and the efficient use of organizational resources.
Support the planning activities resulting in the creation of a program road map.
Work with user groups across the company to understand their needs, map out dependencies and successfully support their migrations to the cloud.
Ensure measurable KPIs are developed for the program
Identify the communication needs of both internal customers and program sponsors, and proactively manage those communications
Identify program impediments and addresses including proper escalation to individuals/groups as needed.
Lead program retrospectives and commitment to improvement on a regular cadence
Advocate and manage program implementation according to PayPal s platform/product lifecycle management.
Maintain awareness of the cross product/program synergies and actively communicate opportunities to simplify or better align work across teams.
Lead effective project/program governance and stakeholder management, ensuring adequate understanding of timelines, resource needs, risks, contentions, and dependencies.
Professional experience requirements:
4+ years of experience required in Program Management
Proven experience in delivering technology products and services in a high growth/high velocity environment at a leading consumer technology company or management consulting firm
Successful track record overseeing programs and ability to understand the relationships between multiple initiatives in one domain
Proven ability to develop effective cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies.
Demonstrated aptitude for risk identification and mitigation.
Experience with different software development methodologies including Agile / Scrum.
Experience with Jira & Clarizen (or other portfolio management tools) preferred
