JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: Director-Content Technologies Reports to: Vice President - Content Competency
Location: From Anywhere in India
Exp level: 12+ yrs
Budget:Open (Based on experience)
NP: Immediate - 30 Days
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and hands-on professional to head Content Technologies. This role will interface with pre-sales, program management, as well as resourcing teams to build a robust content technologies team.
Important pointers while sourcing the profiles:
- This candidate should have experience in Authoring Tools and Templates, Custom HTML Programming, Flash to HTML Projects,
- This candidate should be from e-Learning background
- We are not looking for Project Manager, but you can look at the combination of Product/Technology Management
- Should have UI/UX Background
- Technical Specialist / Technical Consultant in e- Learning Domain
Responsibilities: - Nurture a team of content technology experts ranging from front end programmers to Off-the-shelf tool authors, and automation experts.
- Interface with Pre-sales team for solutioning and estimation in bids.
- Interface with Project Management Group as a consultant to advise on the right mix of talent for each project.
- Interface with Resource Management Group for optimal resource allocation, utilization, as well as predictive planning and hiring.
- Interface with Talent Acquisition team for hiring and onboarding new talent into the team.
- Manage L&D of the team to ensure each individuals career progression, staying updated with the latest in their domain, as well as gaining skills required in future.
Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline.
- AT least 10 years of relevant experience in eLearning
- Hands on with at least one technology. Should have created automation and web-based solutions hands-on in the past.
- Well versed with industry standards: SCORM, CC, LTI,
- Well versed with Off-The-Shelf authoring tools such as Articulate, Lectora.
- Well versed with industry standard LMSs in K12, HE, and Corp
- Ability to seamlessly collaborate with global teams
- Must be highly organized, proactive, detail and deadline-oriented
- Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish trust and credibility to build supportive relationships
- Proven ability to identify and solve problems independently
- Ability to manage cross-functional, globally distributed. teams
- Program level status reporting for the weekly, monthly, steering committee cadence
- Ability to effectively build and manage processe
