Job description
- Overall 7-8+ years of experience in Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Data lake, Data warehouse, and ETL design and development
- Minimum 2-3 project implementation experience using following technologies Cloudera Impala, HIVE, Spark, Oozie, Python scripting, Shell scripting
- Any RDBMS experience (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Proficient in Scala or Java programming
- Real time data processing using Kafka & Spark Streaming, Apache Nifi is preferred
- Working knowledge on AWS Services like EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, IAM is an advantage
- Ready to play the role of an individual contributor role.
- Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Pyspark, Hive etc.
- Experience with relational SQL databases, including Postgres, SQL Server etc.
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Scala, etc.
Provide solutions in big data technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, and Cassandra
Support big data solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Elastic MapReduce
Manage client-driven large-scale implementation projects
Documentation of solution architecture and design.
