Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Support the Online Plant Analytics Department. Develop tools on MS Excel & VBA to simulate process parameters
Create machine learning models to predict production/throughput based on the raw material quality and operating conditions
Support the consultancy's service offerings related to performance enhancement in the Process Industry using Online Big Data acquisition & analysis
Demonstrating to clients performance enhancement in the Process Industry using Online Big Data acquisition & analysis
Assess the effectiveness of data acquisition techniques/ protocols and the accuracy of acquired data.
Mine & analyze data from Server databases to effect performance enhancement in a manufacturing environment by developing & applying customized data models and algorithms to data sets.
Coordinate with cement industry domain experts to implement models and monitor performance outcomes.
Use predictive modelling to estimate future outcomes due to changes in input conditions

Candidate Profile/Technical Skills:

Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts
Application of tools such as Hadoop, R, Matlab, Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS, etc.
Software coding in C, C++, Java, VB, etc
Advanced machine learning algorithms including modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.

Qualifications :Graduation in Engineering, Computer Science or Statistics with Post-graduate qualifications in Data Science/ Analytics

Experience:2- 3 years experience in manipulating data sets and building statistical models
