ML Engineer II - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Delhivery

Job Description

The applied data science team is looking for machine learning/computer vision engineers with 2-4 years of experience with working with real world computer vision and deep learning problems end to end. We are picking up challenging problems to solve across warehouse monitoring and analytics across our network of 5000 cameras with cctv, lidar and drone based inputs.

• Strong coding skills in python/C/C to build end-to-end pipelines for computer vision workflows (input, pre-processing, prediction, post-processing, storage etc.)
• Hands-on experience with deep learning models related to computer vision on videos (object detection, segmentation, tracking etc.)
• Ability to optimise models according to computation constraints and convert it to appropriate libraries to speed things up (tensor-rt etc.)
• Hands on experience with deploying models to production
• Ability to use existing libraries/models/datasets to improve model performance and metrics.
• Self motivated to own the problem and come up with solutions by doing independent research and experimentation

• Work on some of the largest datasets in logistics and warehousing across the world.
• Along with scale, there is a large scope for creative problem solving because of noisy unfiltered data that is being captured
• Ability to work on problems from scratch and own it end to end from definition to production monitoring and see the impact of such solutions at scale
• Opportunity to chart career path either as an individual contributor/architect or towards technical management
• Publish whitepapers, academic papers and visit industry conferences to present work
