Desired Candidate Profile

The Scrum Master oversees the end to end delivery of projects through custom Agile /Scrum process that Zebra employs. Coordinates departmental or cross- functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services in a fully Agile environment. Responsible for all the aspects of the Agile process fully utilizing Jira as the agile management tool. Ensures that the quality is built in to the overall execution of the Agile Process and is not an afterthought.

Responsibilities

Works with the product management team and the SMEs to understand the requirements and create the Epics and Stories

Works closely with the Program Manager to provide statuses, align with the overall program goals

Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance.

Works with the development team to facilitate all the cadences of the Agile methodology

The Scrum Master must have past Web development experience to understand the actual work involved in stories /Epics, how to sequence them, how to structure them and how estimations are done etc.

Understands the technical aspects of the PBIs (Stories and Epics) and provides guidance to the development team where necessary and engages the Architecture team as needed

Qualifications

10 years of experience developing and managing product engineering and software projects, including delivering big data solutions and software development

5 years of experience managing projects using Agile, Kanban and six Sigma methodologies

Must have at least 5 years of web application development experience using Java /J2ee, Angular JS, Java script, and the ecosystem

Ability to work on multiple projects, all complexity levels, in an environment with changing priorities

Has a track record of building and retaining high performance technical teams

Understanding of big data components and architecture and data analytics environment is a plus

Ability to promote QA Automation and affinity to work with QA Automation Teams

An exceptional communicator who can work effectively in a technical environment as well as in a non- technical business user community

UG:   B.Tech/B.E. - Computers

PG:  Post Graduation Not Required
