Job Title: Tech Lead (Big Data )
Experience: 6-10 Yrs
Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Responsibilities (What You'll Do) :

Identify, assess and solve complex business problems around growing big data .
Gather Big Data requirements from our products, act independently to plan & execute scalable, and real-time solutions.
Provide architectural and technical leadership on developing our core data platform.
Help scale our data platform as we experience massive data growth
Make informed decisions for data needs of customers.
Manage medium sized team of Big Data engineers.
Drive SMARTE's current Big Data tech stack to highly performant Big Data ecosystem to empower products with real power of big data.
Work on state of the art technologies in the market

Professional Skills :

Hands on experience with Big Data technologies MapReduce / Hadoop / Spark Hands on experience with Big Data NoSQL databases (Cassandra/MongoDB/HBase) & Relational databases (Mysql/OracleDB)
Hands on experience with Data Indexing and distributed search engines (ElasticSearch/Solr)
Experience in Large Scale Data Processing, Modeling, Integration, Storage, Indexing, Migration, Logging, Data Quality, Security and Archiving Experience with Streaming operation and updates as well as batch processing on Prem /Cloud Environment Exposure to Data Lakes / Data Warehouses / Data Marts (Amazon s3 buckets/ Azure storage)

Good to Have Skills :

Exposure to Application Integration and Web Services
Exposure to messaging queues (Active MQ/Rabbit MQ/Kafka) Exposure to distributed Data Warehouse and queries (Hive/HQL)

Education:

UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
