Front End Developer

Please allocate a front-end software engineer to this RPLN, he/she should be an expert in Front end (React JS, TypeScript, GraphQL) and deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD). This requirement is only for front-end developer.
The NBS Scrum team is a small team working with NBS (Nature Based Solutions) looking at specific efforts to support the NBS strategy around the generation of carbon credits from natural ecosystems. Working with the business to understand opportunities, or problems to be solved, and investigating potential solutions. The NBS business focus is around:
Screening identifying natural ecosystem opportunities, assessing them and selecting the initiatives to invest in
Development executing and operating the initiatives
MRV monitoring, reporting, verifying carbon credits
The role of a Software Engineer is required to support on a couple of data driven projects:
One relating to Carbon Credit Accounting & Forecasting to allow the monitoring of forecasted vs actual carbon credit outputs. The goal is to create an application that uses data to anticipate the project estimates in respect of carbon credit production, tracks carbon credit offset per project on a defined frequency, updates & adjusts ACCU volume, and tracks the shortfall/surplus of each project based on the estimates & reporting. Provide a single view screen for project managers to know the progress on projects and take timely corrective action.
The other to further develop an MVP that has been built in R that takes NBS project ex ante emissions reduction predictions and generates Monte-Carlo-based probabilistic estimates based on uncertainties in the inputs (e.g., tree growth rate, planting rate, etc). The prototype was built specifically for one project. The goal is to expand this to other activities/ecosystems and create a GUI that allows other technical focals to use the tool without needing to code in R.
The Full Stack Engineer will work with a Data Scientist, Data Engineer and wider natural team as required to ensure alignment with the wider RES operational strategy.
Preferred skills/experience/knowledge: PostgreSQL, Python, Plotly, Geospatial data, ront end (React JS, TypeScript, GraphQL), backend technologies (Node JS, GraphQL) and deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
Experience working in Agile - Scrum - Kanban Lean environment also preferred.
