AWS Cloud Architect - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ RGF Professional

This position focuses on defining a modular architecture that can respond to current and future business requirements, business systems, and business processes evolving in the cloud. This position will create and drive strategy and content of multiple cloud service launches and integration models. This individual will influence and lead cross-functional teams to complete projects and major initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to define cloud future state architectures and roadmaps including architecture standards, guidelines, and industry best practices to set the technology direction, vision, and strategy to enable Cloud technology adoption and the resultant migration
Demonstrate a leadership role in ensuring that new and existing systems are aligned to architectural guidelines
Assist infrastructure operations team in selecting cloud service providers
Assess application readiness for cloud technology adoption
Evaluate and Recommend the SaaS/PaaS/IaaS cloud models that best fit business needs

Collaborate with enterprise architects in other architectural areas to ensure comprehensive and cohesive working solutions are developed across disciplines
o Economic and technical value proposition for cloud
o Distinctions and tradeoffs among IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, private, hybrid, public cloud

o Distinctions and tradeoffs among market leading cloud providers, orchestration platforms, SDN, and hypervisor solutions
o Strategies and best practices for implementing resilient, scalable, enterprise-class solutions in cloud infrastructures
