Engineering Manager, Cloud Optimization @ ExecBoardinAsia

The Engineering Manager for Cloud Optimization position is designed for an engineering leader who understands cloud usage, data pipelines, BI tools, and FinOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to build data pipeline and cloud cost reporting solutions for AWS, Azure, and other strategic cloud technology partners.
• Gather, clarify and prioritize requirements from stakeholders.
• Translating business requirements into roadmaps and technical designs.
• Ensure timely execution on project deliverables.
• Look for new ways to continuously improve velocity and quality.
• Assist the team with challenging engineering problems and remove roadblocks.
• Occasionally give presentations to stakeholders on status or collect feedback.
• Own the cloud optimization program for the company.
• Identify ways the company divisions can use cloud hosting and operations tools more efficiently and drive the realization of the savings.
• Promote the FinOps culture across their organizations.
• Manage and cultivate a team of high-performing engineers.
• Plan workforce needs.
• Attract and retain a great team.
• Administer compensation, provide feedback and mentoring.
• Ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
