Job Description
Summary:
- Business Systems Analysts supporting the EDI function are an integral part of the EDI Team and work closely with our developers to provide clients, vendors, and our operations team assistance with data integration and new process development.
Essential Duties Responsibilities:
- Technical and data specification gathering, business rules documentation, and communication to all project participants clearly to ensure delivery of project objectives on time. This includes providing data mapping, cross walking, and other programming details to developers for execution
- Development and execution of testing plans that will validate programs provide the requested/required results
- Maintaining documentation during project life cycle and delivering for use postproduction as reference materials
- High degree of interaction with North American based teammates.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent in related experience
- 3 or more years experience in IS/IT environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills, experience with text editors, Microsoft office suite, and SFTP clients
- Experience in accounts receivable and billing in a medical environment is a plus
- CUBS system exposure, particularly relating to account maintenance and payment processing preferred
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilities
- Possess excellent organization skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to work as an effective member of a team
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, quality and detail-oriented environment
