Job Description
Requirements
- Working as part of the IT team the Support Desk Analyst configures and maintains desktop, laptop and mobile device operating systems, and provides technical support for all business units.
- Configures, maintains, and deploys desktop operating systems, ensuring data integrity and system security; installs, configures, troubleshoots, maintains system images and responds to user concerns for desktops, laptops.
- Addresses and resolves user account, software, hardware and connectivity issues.
- Software installation and software application troubleshooting.
- Ensures service and repairs for hardware, printers, scanners, and other equipment or devices.
- Maintains fixed asset inventory of all hardware and software licenses.
- Creates and maintains IT documentation, including knowledge base, updates, instructions, manuals, guides, imaging processes, etc.
- Coordinates with Service Level I and Service Level II escalation of service requests.
- Available when scheduled for on-call duty (24x7) availability for support of users.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or directly related field; or four years of experience in a similar support position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven customer service skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- A+ or related certifications desired
- Demonstrable scripting knowledge, particularly PowerShell a plus
- Must be self-motivated and self-directed
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- Travel requirement: up to 10%
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls.
- The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
- On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.
- The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
