Responsibilities and Duties
Experience: 7 + years
Profile: Manual Testing - Web
Required Skills:
1) Excellent communication skills (written + verbal)
2) Excellent documentation skills, test case writing, requirement understanding, bug management skills
3) Should have worked with US clients
4) Defines scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing.
5) Participate and perform all levels of testing including functional, regression, load, system testing etc.
6) Able to do exploratory and non functional testing as needed
7) Perform root cause analysis of defects found in software
8) Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
9) Knowledge of testing process deliverables
10) Track testing effort and progress of testing
11) Should be proficient in using Google Docs (documents, spreadsheet, presentation) and Microsoft office suite.
Job Description:
1) Able to work independently
2) Requirement gathering and analysis
3) Identification of scenarios and test cases based on requirements
4) Test Execution and bug reporting
5) Thorough knowledge of CMMI Level 3 or quality assurance processes
6) Manages assigned projects from QA testing through final UAT
7) Proven experience of working individually and as part of a team
8) Works collaboratively with development during all stages of projects
9) Records and reports on test metrics
10) Provide assurance for build releases to staging and production environments
11) Proactively communicate with project stakeholders to resolve issues that impede testing efforts
Good to have:
1) Functional Test Automation skills - Selenium (Java) or QTP
3) ISTQB certified
