Description
- Lead engineering team for end-to-end product development right from concept/design till testing and evaluation. Directing NPD projects as per budgets and delivery time-lines
- Drive the implementation of project engineering tools and techniques like DFMEA, DFA, DFE etc.
- Lead and create a pipeline of product innovations after competition bench-marking and collaboration with the global design centre with significant business impact
- Manage overall team development in terms of functional and managerial skills while tracking team performance
Profile
- The successful candidate will have 15+ years of overall Product Development Experience with a strong Mechanical Engineering background
- Highly motivated and self-driven R&D professional with innovation fueled approach and up to date with latest trends in product innovation
- Ability to create a strong pipeline of innovation projects
- Must have a track record of managing and delivering with large team setups and interacting with global counterparts
- Prior experience of leading end-to-end innovative product development teams with a diverse product portfolio
