We are looking for Product Owners for Chennai (OMR Road - karappakkam) location
Permanent hire ! - USA - ATLANTA BASEDPRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FIRM(NOT SERVICES COMPANY)
Max CTC : 25 TO 30 LPA
Notice period: Immediate Joiner or max 30 days .
Presently working from Home, has to report to Karapakkam premises once the operations are normal (likely fromMarch/April 2022)
In this role, the Product Owner is involved in every aspect of the product development process from discovery to delivery. You will work directly withUX, designers, engineers and stakeholdersto ship meaningful products iteratively . The Product Owner will be expected to demonstrate an innovation mindset and full range of product development skills
Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders, especially development teams to communicate, prioritize and estimate product requirements. Conduct Planning sessions required for new features, enhancements and bug fix work efforts. Investigate customer reported issues which may get converted into new user stories, workarounds or other actions. Manage an effective and groomed backlog.
Elicit high-level requirements and define Acceptance Criteria per feature, providing clarifications necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and story
Work with the development team to verify and validate what is being built. This can vary from a simple UI screen testing to API testing.
Ability to take a requirement small to complex, split them into smaller manageable user stories and put them together in a single or multiple releases.
Skills and Attributes
A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer science, Software engineering, Business or a related field.
5 plus years of relevant work experience with product development.
Good Written and Communication Skills.
Accomplished in aspects of product management (agile development, design review, backlog management, roadmap creation, specification, project management, data analysis etc.)
Experience working with technical teams and comfortable in understanding data formats like XML/JSON/AVRO/PARQUET etc.
Experience working with technical teams and comfortable in understanding API Responses and working in Postman.
Comfortable operating in fast paced, startup mode
Exceptional communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Experience with JIRA & Confluence to create roadmaps/dashboards/user guides etc.
Experience in Data analysis is an added plus
Preferred Qualifications
Must manage to work in multiple modules simultaneously, Agile mindset and fast to adapt to change.
Ability to work with teams in multiple Geo's.
