Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

5 years of experience in the Linux/UNIX management.

Strong knowledge in Linux (SLES|RHEL|OEL) administration. Installation, configuration, service mgmt., fine tuning & troubleshooting are a must. Desirable knowledge and experience in LVM, package mgmt. & patching cycle.

Shell scripting knowledge, BASH as a must, KSH & Python desirable.

Desirable knowledge in PowerVC and its related technologies, HMC, Novalink, NUMA/DPO, etc.

Desirable knowledge in AIX (6.x & 7.x) and its related technologies, HMC, NIM, VIOS, etc.

Desirable knowledge in orchestration/automation tools such as Saltstack & Ansible, not necesarely as developer but as operator.

Network knowledge for troubleshooting purposes, subnetting, CIDR, TCP/UDP/IP protocols, network layers, common service ports, routing, etc.

Working days will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Off days will be : Tuesday and Wednesday.
