Job Profile
A.Periodical Accounting Books and record keeping:
Preparation & Maintenance of Books of accounts in line with the Applicable Indian Accounting Standards/Company Policies etc.including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and statutory liabilities
Book closing & Preparation of Financial Statement on Monthly and Annual Basis
Recording classifying and maintaining revenue accounts including receivable summary
Preparation & Maintenance of various registers / prescribed documentations/ records such as Fixed Assets Register
To manage Cash & banking transactions
Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation statement
To ensure records & books are maintained as required by law & as per Company policy
B.MIS reports & Budgets:
Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements & other reports
Preparation of MIS reports, Sales reports as required by management
Assisting in the annual budgeting and planning process
C.Period closing & Audits:
To ensure year endclosing (financial Year & Calendar Year) and accurate reporting
Coordinate with Auditors for timely completion of annual audits, internal audits
D.Import & Export procedures & other Statutory liabilities
To ensure Import & Export procedures as per applicable laws are complied with
To ensure the provisions of RBI & FEMA are adhered to with regards to remittance of funds
To ensure tax & statutory compliances as applicable
E.Others Important responsibilities:
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, internal controls, policies to safeguard the interest of the company
To assist in ERP implementation & upgradation process
Consistently analysing of financial data and recommending cost control possibilities
To recognize all accounting transactions for salary to employees in Salary Accounting Head & to ensure disbursement of Salaries to employees as per company policy & process
You shall in all respects carry out and use your best endeavours in carrying out the objects of the company and protect its interest to the best of your ability and judgement
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Knowledge & Abilities:
Knowledgeable & experience in Accounting & Finance domain
Advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software
Accuracy and thoroughness in the analyses and preparation of financial records
Ability to exercise sound judgment confirming to accounting principles, policies, taxation, forex regulations, and other applicable laws
A keen eye & passion for detail and desire to probe further into data
Passionate to provide results within deadlines
Must be skilled in effectively managing work priorities
Reading, understanding, interpreting, and applying relevant statutes, rules, ordinances, codes, and regulations as applicable
Establishing and maintaining cooperative and collaborative working relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
