Desired Candidate Profile
An accomplished individual with 15+ years of QA delivery experience in the IT-Software / Services industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in Performance Testing, Scalability and Reliability testing and have been responsible for developing and validating related requirements across multiple products Provide day-to-day technical guidance and hands-on help to testing teams
- Deep understanding of Enterprise service/product architecture and good knowledge of Java technology stack. Ability to excite and motivate the team with a compelling quality vision.
- Demonstrate strategic & thought leadership in QA to continuously improvise and optimize the QA processes and methodologies across various testing disciplines like functional testing, automation testing, performance testing, user interface testing, security testing etc
- Completely manage QA delivery for multiple QA teams/products across multiple releases and schedules
- Very strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Preferably have commissioned script-less automation frameworks in earlier roles with hands-on experience in scripting with automation tools (QTP, Selenium etc)
- Experience in creating a robust testing strategy for Cloud-based solutions.
- Experience in test automation using a programming or scripting language is mandatory
- Working knowledge of databases.
- Working experience in the testing product using SOAP or REST
- Knowledge of Security protocols like OAUTH, SAML.
- Well versed with agile methodologies and should have implemented agile testing practices, including but not limited to continuous delivery using Hudson/Jenkins, Ant/Maven, QTP/Selenium and code coverage tools
- Ability to manage all aspects of QA life cycle and bring in best practices across disciplines like functional testing, automation testing, performance testing, user interface testing, security testing, etc
- Extensive experience in QA delivery and should have managed big QA teams to deliver high-quality services/projects.
- Very strong leadership skills, which should be a combination of people and technical leadership
- Strong quality focus, driving & motivating teams to achieve QA delivery targets under dynamic circumstances.
- Understanding & appreciating client specific requirements and demonstrate flexibility in addressing client priorities in dynamic situations.
- Strong in people management with the ability to guide, mentor and groom team members successfully
