Sr QA Engineer - Hyderabad / Secunderabad @ Blue Yonder

Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

Scope:
Should have experience in Functional testing of Web applications and APIs
Should have experience in writing automation scripts using Selenium and executing them periodically.
Should have good experience using Postman, Rest APIs.
Experience with Java, JavaScript, JMeter
Experience in writing Performance tools such as JMeter / Load Runner etc.
Should have good experience in writing detailed test cases and manually execute.
Understand and follow testing standards and procedures
Should have worked in an Agile development environment
Should work with the development team to provide inputs to fix issues and possible solutions to problems
Should have experience in writing business requirement documentation
Provide required inputs for test plan preparation and for different test phases.
Should have experience either with JIRA or any other defect tracking tools (bug life cycle)
Preferably have an understanding of Retail / Supply Chain domains

Our current technical environment:

Software: Java, JMeter, Blazemeter, selenium, React-UI

What you ll do:

Responsible for authoring and execution of the test cases for the new features delivered.
Responsible for handling both the Desktop and Web-based application.
You will be triaging the customer defects and author any missed-out scenarios to the existing test bed for regression
Responsible for automation of API s using postman/home-grown automation framework
Responsible for both UI/functional automation
Work with the team for the language releases as per the release schedule.
Should participate in the PSR execution and authoring the test cases on a need basis.
Participate in code review process, help the team (Manual/Technical).
Work independently, develop and adhere to best known coding practices

hat we are looking for:

BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech or MCA with 5 to 7 years of experience in Software Development of large and complex enterprise applications.
