Staff Software Engineer (NodeJs & ReactJs) @ Blue Yonder

Team:

• Proven, passionate bunch of disruptors providing solutions which develop real time micro-frontend and microservices patterns and frameworks, that can be used to develop compound components.
• TDD based development for design, architecture and develop SaaS platform
• Young team, in a short term has turned a concept into a product which is now grown to large customer base mostly comprising of fortune 500 companies in the field of supply chain
• Gained Expertise in designing and deploying massively scalable cloud native SaaS products
• The team currently comprises of global associates and is expected to grow rapidly.

Role:

• Core responsibilities to include Architecting and designing (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) a ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product using microservices and TDD methodology
• Drive designs discussion and come up with robust and more efficient designs to achieve features in product roadmap
• Take complete responsibility of the features developed right from coding till deployments
• Be a leader, take responsibility of code quality and drive test driven development thought process in the team
• Collaborate and work along with experts in the team to understand the current architecture and propose opportunities for improvement
• Introduce new technology and tools for the betterment of the product
• Mentor New and junior associates in our team by shares knowledge by offering training sessions
• Guides fellow engineers to look beyond the surface and fix the root causes rather than symptoms.
• Evolves the hiring culture in the team, identifies skill gaps, and actively shapes job openings to ensure foreseeable requirements can be met in the future.

Our current technical environment:

• Software: NodeJS (or NestJS), ReactJS with Typescript, Javascript, Webpack, GIT, ExpressJS, Rest API, OAuth
• Application Architecture : Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture : MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others : Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, NOSQL, RDBMS, Github Flows

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor s degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in Software development; has been an Architect, within the last 1-2 years minimum.
• Strong programming experience and background in React JS, Node JS, Design Patterns, Restful Web services, NoSQL, SQL programming
• Demonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions (we use Azure) in AWS, Azure and or GCP
• Demonstrable experience with microservices based architecture on Cloud at scale.
• Experience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologies
• Hands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software development
• Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solution and Cloud Scalability, performance and High availability
• Experience with API management platforms providing / consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with varied tools such as ReactJS, Typescript, NodeJS, REST, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.
• Good Understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, identity management.
