Job Description
Requirements
The position involves;
Analysis and requirements gathering including communicating with a range of stakeholders;documenting requirements, technical specifications and user guides,development coding individually and alongside other team members,potentially participating in code reviews or solution architecture discussions,keeping abreast of latest technical advances to develop skills and knowledge.
Essential skills:
- Minimum 5 years development experience with at least 2 years of ColdFusion development experience;
- Relational database design and development experience PL/SQL or T SQL;
- Detailed understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS;
- Understanding of technology terminology and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff;
- Requirements analysis and documentation / writing skills.
Highly desirable bonus skills:
- Oracle database configuration and administration experience;
- Java programming language experience.
- Ruby on Rails experience;
- Test Driven Development;
- Any experience with C# ASP.NET MVC programming;
- Creating and consuming APIs;
- Git version control;
- Experience of Identity Access Management (IAM) tools;
- Understanding of web application security best practices;
- Previous participation in design, code and test reviews;
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Other desirable skills:
- Ruby on Rails experience;
