Job Description
Summary:
We are looking for a Spring / J2EE Web Developer to join our eCommerce team and deliver a better solution.
We want a team member who strives to develop a first-class codebase with standard practices.
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for Backend implementation for our B2B and B2C eCommerce Omni-Channel web shops build on SAP Commerce(Hybris).
Agile work culture with Design Thinking and Ideation to build better software and make customer happy.
Responsibilities / Expectations:
3 to 5 years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing and testing of software systems in Java, J2EE and Spring MVC.
Proven hands-on Software Development experience.
Experience in developing web applications using Spring MVC.
Experience in implementing Java EE design patterns such as MVC, Singleton, Session Facade, DAO, DTO.
Good experience in developing Web Services REST, SOAP, JAX-WS, WSDL. Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
Experience in Configuring and deploying applications on Tomcat 5.5/6.0/7.0 server.
Experience in designing front end interfaces using HTML, JSP, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Ajax.
Experience with test-driven development
Strong Knowledge on Application Development using Software Development Life Cycle SDLC using Agile/Scrum.
Excellent team player with good analytical, strategic planning and interpersonal and communication skills. Highly motivated, enthusiastic and self-starter.
Knowledge on Git or Bitbucket
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure solution designs are in compliance with specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including Continuous Integration, Build tools and configuration management
Experience in implementing agile techniques (Scrum) and methods
Exposure on the continuous integration build tools and code quality tools Page 3 of 3
Good to have:
Experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce applications
Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence
Hybris SAP Commerce Platform
Basic knowledge on Angular and Node JS Qualifications/Profile:
Functional / Technical proficiency with at least 2-4 full lifecycle of web implementations using Spring MVC and J2EE.
At least 2 years of working experience with third party integrations using J2EE and Spring technologies.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
