5+ years experience as a Software Developer
College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline B Tech/MCA

Core Competency Requirements Proficient with Microsoft .NET 4.0+ development using C#
Good knowledge and experience with core Microsoft .Net technologies including: WCF and EF
Experience with web development technologies including ASP.NET, MVC3, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS
Good experience in either Oracle or SQL server or both
Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
Good oral, presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Participate in requirement analysis as and when required
Prepare the WBS as per approved requirements
Help project manager to estimate the efforts and sequence the tasks
Prepare & Review design documents to detail the implementation
Update RTM with design specs for all the requirements
Develop the code to implement the assigned tasks
Maintain versions of code by using appropriate code repository
Perform unit testing to verify that developed code is functioning properly
Perform code review of peers
Participate in code Integration and build release activities by providing the required check lists
Analyze the defects posted, identify the root cause and document the same
Fix the defects
Perform impact analysis in terms of code changes and document the impact for each change request
Participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) discussions to identify the root causes that helps to improve the process
Participate in project closure to prepare/ update project documents and lessons learned
Update status periodically or when requested
Guide next level team members technically
