Desired Candidate Profile

 -Responsibilities
o Lead projects of varying complexity across a global and cross-functional environment. The project manager is responsible for successful delivery of projects based on the project charter.
o Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Vishay Project management process culture, tools and methodology, consistent with industry best practices. Convert lessons learned from completed projects into proposals to improve tools, templates, training and processes.
o Support the project requester in preparation of project requests.
o Coach and support other project managers (outside of GPMO) in executing projects by providing the tools, techniques and assistance needed to ensure that projects are following the industry best practices and Vishay Project management guidelines.

-Requirements (Experience)
o 7-10 years of total experience
o 5-7 years Project Management experience, taking a project from conception to delivery.
o PMO experience with the goal of improving the project management processes
o Experience in a Manufacturing environment is desirable.

- Requirements (Soft Skills)
o Structured and personal organization.
o Self-driven and self-motivated.
o Detail oriented. Ability to develop detailed plans.
o Positive attitude, can do approach in getting things done. Creative problem solver.
o Command over the English language for verbal and written communication in both virtual and co-located environments. Ability to effectively work with senior level stakeholders within the organization and outside the organization when working with 3rd party vendors.
o Team management. Ability to provide strong leadership to multi-cultural, global and virtual teams.
o Team player.
o Desire to learn and grow.
o Willingness to travel internationally.

- Requirements (Education)
o Bachelors degree from a reputed college. Masters degree nice to have.
o PMP Certification is preferred.
