Job Description

We have urgent Job openings for Medical Coding and Billing/Medical Coder in Singapore Hospital.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Gender:- Male & Female

Qualification: -Degree & Diploma in relevant field.

Experience Minimum 1 year & above .

Industry: Healthcare/ Medical

Role:Medical Coding and Billing/Medical Coder

Department :- All

Salary: 4800 SGD TO 5800 SGD (INR 2,46,000 To INR 2,98,000) Monthly

Visa Type: -Work permit

Contract: 5 years (Renewal of yearly bases after that you will get PR)

Other benefits:-Food/ accommodation/Uniform/ Transportation/Dental/ Medical leave as per company law/ Family visa+ Child care.

Working Hours:40 hours in a week (Monday to Fridays)

Required Skills:-

Excellent typing and 10-key speed and accuracy

Working knowledge of medical jargon and anatomy preferred

Commitment to high level of customer service

A target-oriented team player with initiative and a positive work attitude

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze patient charts carefully to know the diagnosis and represent every item with specific codes.

Collect health information as documented by medical specialists and code them appropriately.

Consult medical specialists for further clarification and understanding of items on patient charts to avoid any misinterpretations

Ensure that codes tally with doctors diagnosis

Evaluate and re-file appeals of patient claims that were denied

Using codes to bill insurance providers

Develop good client relationship in the course of duty.

Collect and distribute coding related information and billing issues

Provide accurate answers to queries on coding.

Assigning CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM and ASA codes.

Ensuring compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines.
