Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understanding what the Client or Sodexo wants to achieve
- Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
- Ensuring that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
- Reporting regularly on progress to the client and stakeholders
- Managing several projects simultaneously with the support of other team members, contractors.
- Excellent technical knowledge for project maintenance, repair, site supervision and civil coordination
- Should have knowledge and good experience in RCC, Finishing, Repairs & all types of Interior Decoration works.
- Responsible for all civil & finishing activities such as but not limited to block work, plastering, compound wall, false ceiling, gypsum walls, painting, joinery, tiling, stone cladding, glass faade, carpet, wallpaper, parquet flooring, road repairs, waterproofing and landscaping etc.
- To have knowledge of civil construction / finishing works, drawing and getting work executed at the site as per the IFC if required.
- Supervising & monitoring work execution and site labor / workforce / contractors.
- Coordinates and monitors with subcontractors for their daily construction activities and their obligations and liaison with subcontractors.
- Day-to-day management of the site including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any contractors.
- Knowledge and understanding of site measurement and vendor billing.
- Overseeing quality control, health and safety compliance of internal team and vendors.
- Preparing reports and Completion of documentation as required, including safety permit, purchase requisitions, delivery notes, snagging etc.
- Undertake Health and Safety, Technical, Toolbox Talk and other training as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ensuring that all concerned staff, vendors/contractors follow safety norms required at site.
- Effective planning, implementation and monitoring of proactive measures.
- Ensuring excellent housekeeping and working practices.
- Ensuring accurate measurement of work carried out periodically and recommend for release of interim payments as per contract.
- Completion of documentation as required, including purchase requisitions and delivery notes.
- Taking remedial actions for any safety and service delivery issues.
- Completion of all records pertaining to proactive maintenance, including snags which are not closed and reporting to Technical Lead daily.
- Participating in meetings with Reporting manager and above, communicating and taking actions through shift meetings.
