Job Description
Job Description:This position is a full-time opportunity for a NetworkEngineer working within our Service Provider for
Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) Solution. The Network Engineer is responsible for positioning,
architecting and delivering service solutions around Ciscos Service Provider technologies including
ASR9000, ASR900, IOS, IOS-XR, IP NGN, MetroEthernet.
Job Duties:
Provide planning, Designing and Implementation services to Ciscos Customers. Delivers implementation
plans, with a deep understanding of network, customers change management processes, migration
processes andrelateddependencies.
Work closely with the project manager on the engagement to ensure compliance to set processes, weekly
progress and status checks, ongoing communications and meetings and drive technical solutions &
deliverables discussions with the customers. Ensure smooth closure of engagements using relationship
with the customer and guide them to the next steps.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must have extensive knowledge of and minimum 5 years experience with the following:
Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or Network
solution designing of Ciscorouters and switchis must.
A self-driven individual with the curiosity to learn, work in a fast-pacedchanging environment,
evolve continuously to keep pace with the Ciscos solutions, technologies and industry trends, be
an inspiration and trend setters for others. Deep knowledge of at least one Customer Vertical / IT
industry.
Engineer must have experience in network migration projects, On-site or Remote migration
support; High-level methodologies, HLD, LLD, MOP generation& As-Built documentation
Experience on cisco Broadband Network Gateway technologies (BNG). Knowledge on AAA, CPS,
PCF products would be added advantage.
Experience working on Internet Service provider infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of Industry
standard Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), MPLS, MPLS L2 VPN, MPLS L3 VPN, QoS , Access
Technologies(STP,MST,G8032,VRRP).
Experience in Fault Monitoring/performance using Telemetry.
EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or
CCNP /CCDP/ or CCIE
10+ years
