Senior Developer - Python AWS Angular @ Ness

Role:

• Implement major full-stack features with limited guidance from leads and managers
• Demonstrate a passion for SaaS product development, and be extremely detail-oriented
• Develop technically rich prototypes based on the stakeholder requirements and work with relevant technology teams to do successful implementation
• Strong analytic, problem solving, and programming ability
• Implement product features that are secure, scalable, robust and easy to implement and maintain
• Work independently within self-organizing Agile teams
• Plan and identify solutions and risks in assigned work
• Be responsible for implementing features, provide bug fixes, reviewing code quality to ensure they work well at cloud scale.
• Take pride of ownership in code and product features delivered
• Stand up for coding best practices that ensure quality deliverables: agile development, continuous integration, code reviews, and technical design
• Take initiative to advance the quality, responsiveness, architecture, or design of our solution

Mandatory Skills

Experience developing full-stack SaaS software products

Expertise developing SOA web services and REST / OData based APIs

Expertise with IoC containers and DI frameworks (like Guice ), SOLID and DRY principles, REST frameworks, (like Hibernate), CI/CD solutions using Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity etc.

Deep expertise in object oriented programming, preferably in Java and Java based frameworks

Solid experience in any one of the python-based backend frameworks like Django or Flask or Pyramid along with end to end testing

Good knowledge of Client side scripting - JavaScript, JQuery , Angular , Node JS etc.

Debugging using Fiddler, Postman or API tools

Microservices (Like Spring, etc.)

Knowledge of design patterns

Python any version

Any RDS System

Experience with AWS platform, specifically Lambda, API Gateway, IAM

Experience with AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Serverless functions etc.

Experience in owning Code Quality and Code Review processes

Good understanding of application debugging techniques

Experienced in Agile methodologies

Strong oral and written communication skills

Good to have

• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence
• Understanding of Permissions, Bucket Policy, etc.
• Understanding of AWS Security, API Gateway etc.
• Knowledge on Cloudwatch Splunk
