Job Overview
The Fleet Technical Support department at Leading Airlines provides support for technical documentation and operational data related to aircraft performance,airport studies to Flight Operations management.
Key Responsibilities
- MEL customization and approval, review and update MEL upon MMEL revisions for all VTI fleets
- Support Flight Operations in pre-delivery preparations to post-delivery actions of new aircraft delivery for all VTI fleets
- Assist in all Director General of Civil Avation (DGCA) approvals(i.e. manuals, new destinations, Extended diversion time operations (EDTO), Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) approval, Low Visibility approvals, all other special operations approvals)
- Preparing and coordinating for DGCA CAR / Circular Compliance requirements
- Preparation of technical data for Engineering Quality for ARC activity - Aircraft Performance Certificate, Range and Performance of Radio Communication & Navigation Equipment Certificate and Aircraft Flight manual status certificate all VTI fleets
- Assist in Aircraft Performance Monitoring (Monthly APD tracking and updating) and liaison with engineering
- Assist in monitoring technical publications relating to Leading Airlines fleet ensuring that operational manuals are updated in a timely manner to reflect the manufacturers source data and any changes in the aircraft configuration/modification status. Technical writing - notifying crew of pertinent changes in policies, procedures or instructions/information through the timely issue of FSI, INTAMS, TCC, TB
- Any other duties as assigned by Manager
Skills/Attributes
- Ability to define and document technical processes as required
- Ability to manage multiple projects & deadlines
- Good in collaborating with different stakeholders and drive the common agendas
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proficient with MS office
- Excellent Project Management tools/ Adobe pdf/xml editor is an added advantage
Work Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in Flight Operations or exposure to Flight Operations documentation is desirable
Qualification
- Graduate in Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized university
- Background in Aeronautical Engineering Aerospace Engineering and Aircraft maintenance Engineering is desirable
