Responsible for the day-to-day management of one or more complex translation/subtitling projects, including but not limiting to
Handling in-bound inquiries and website chats,
Sourcing the language projects to translators and proofreaders
Reviewing and Formatting files for QC
Assisting Sr. Project manager with various other project responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between client and translator, ensuring any and all expectations/requirements for the projects are made clear to the translation teams.
Excellent project coordination skills including adherence to time lines, scope and quality
Ability to prioritize and to recognize what and when to escalate
Follow all stipulated quality assurance procedures and resolves quality assurance issues.
Keeping track of and reporting on project progress to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to initiate and implement procedural changes and help optimize work ows.
Assist in the creation, updating and maintenance of translation memories in applicable language(s).
Gain expertise in the usage of CAT tools (For eg. TRADOS) including the ability to troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree (Master s degree preferred)
At least two plus years of experience in Project Coordination
Should be willing to work in UK Shift -1 pm to 10 pm
Experience in customer service, coordinating projects and/or managing resources.
Hands-on experience in working with Customer Service tool (Zendesk, FreshDesk, ZohoDesk, etc....)
Must have worked in multiple vendors environment
Ability to multitasking in a time sensitive work environment and stay calm under pressure.
Understanding of HTML, XML, and web technologies along with Microsoft Office programs would be beneficial.
Brilliant at communicating expectations and should have excellent customer service skills.
Fluency in verbal and written English Communication and in understanding foreign dialects
Fluency in basic reading and writing in any European language
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity while ensuring that challenging delivery time lines are met.
Highly detail oriented, positive, friendly, and a fast learner
Project Management Certifications Like CAPM, Prince2 and PMP are plus
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
