Lead Engineer- MeS Quality Assurance @ Collins Aerospace

Job Description

• Review of various manufacturing process specification, first article inspection reports and PPAP packages from various suppliers of Landing Systems SBU to ensure compliance with the quality assurance requirements.
• Performing QMS audits, attending 2nd party and 3rd party audits (AS9100). Planning and performing process audits

Skills

• 3-5 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes for aerospace metallic parts, preferably landing gear parts.
• Good understanding of surface finishing and heat treatment requirements for aerospace industry and related operations.
• Sound knowledge in FAI requirements and related AS9102 standard
• Good understanding of APQP/PPAP requirements and AS9145 standard.
• Good communication interpersonal skills to coordinate with the SBU counterparts.
  General understanding of AS9100 based QMS requirements
• Desired Skills: Knowledge of Net Inspect, EtQ and SmartSolve
