Operations Technology Solution Architect @ Collins Aerospace

This person will report to our Digital Technology (DT) Cyber Architecture team. This person will work closely with their Digital Technology peers as well as our Digital teams across Operations and our Digital Technology (DT) partners within IT partners by designing, developing, and integrating tools and processes for Cybersecurity, Networking, Data and Asset Management and other tasks related to developing an IIOT / Smart Factory ecosystem.As a fulltime member on the Factory Cybersecurity project team, you will be athe key Operations Cyber Operations Technology (OT) representative and support the development of the following key deliverables:

• Setting the factory cyber policy framework
• Developing the factory segmentation strategy and design for all of Collinsfactories
• Finalize and roll-out of equipment onboarding/connectivity process with support from change management communication.Ensure there is an understanding across Collins of the process to onboard new equipment.
• Define roles responsibilities between DT and Ops including identification of resources gaps
• Pilot automated discovery for Operations Technology (OT) asset inventory (1-2 sites) with the roadmap for full deployment.Support requirements development and vendor selection.
• Complete Support trade study for Cyber solutions for OT equipment
• Develop formal process forrisk remediation through business ServiceOwners.Includes process for exceptions for extenuating circumstances. Considers mitigating controls.
• Deliver current enterprise Cyber services to OT.Tune for OT so that it is consumable for the business without interruption. (Antivirus, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, etc)
• Identify factory patch management process
• Assist with technology roadmaps for the factory

This role will work collaboratively with our partners in DT Operations to:

• Define and deploy policy and procedures for ongoing maintenance of OT asset management system: Adding new OT devices, updating new existing OT device data, retiring assets that are either replaced or no longer in use on the shop floor. Updating the new active software / firmware versions for OT devices in asset management system.
• Define the policy and procedure for applying firmware upgrades on OT devices that will reduce the impacts to Operations.
• Support the definition and implementation of asset monitoring tools and associated auditing processes within the factory.
• Define how the OT configuration management database (CMDB) service works and be the lead Operation resource supporting the implementation of the CMDB service for the factory
• Support the Engineering product cybersecurity team with the implementation of secure product programming processes including encryption, key management, and tool development

Desired Skills Experience:

• Proven track record of managing the OT ecosystem including Industrial network solutions, interoperability, and its convergence with IT infrastructure
• Experience with OT connectivity and M2M protocols
• Experience with configuration, network performance, health monitoring cybersecurity of OT network systems
• Understanding of routing and switching, firewalls, storage area networks, relational databases, and VPN tunnels along with the traditional elements of instrumentation, control and HMI platforms
• Experience with SCADA and PLC platforms; Distributed I/O, machine-level HMI , VFDs, and servos. Ability to read electrical schematics, panel layouts, safety systems, PIDs in AutoCAD.
• Experience using an OT asset management system
• Experience deploying a segregated and segmented manufacturing network is strongly desired
• Familiar with NIST NICE NIST, C CMMC and DFARs frameworks
• Familiar with the Purdue/ISA-95 factory segmentation model
• Bachelors degree in engineering discipline or computer science
