Sr. Software Engineer - QA - Chandigarh @ cloudneeti

Job Description

• The SFDC QA Engineer will report to the Sr. Manager of Business Systems.
• The SFDC QA Engineer primarily (80%) acts as a tester and partners with the internal business customers, project and IT teams to elicit testing requirements and recommend test strategy, plans and approaches based on best practices and the project characteristics and execute the plans.

Responsibilities/What You ll Do

• The SFDC QA Engineer is an active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle and will be required to work closely with a variety of internal business partners to ensure that all testing requirements are understood, documented and met.
• Work on Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, SOQL) Demonstrative success with implementing at least one large Salesforce.com project
• Perform load and performance testing
• Business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
• Interact with both technical teams and business.
• Develop a test data management strategy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of test automation experience using any of Python / Perl / Java / PHP / Javascript
• Strong experience in Automating QA process for web applications using Selenium web driver with Python / Perl / Java
• Understanding of QA methodologies
• Experience in writing automated scripts for Drupal / React / Javascript applications
• Knowledge of Web Development technologies
• Knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle, Bug Life Cycle, Testing Life Cycle and database testing
• Experience in defect management and Bug Reporting using agile methodology
• Perform ad-hoc and regression testing of system components
• Execute test cases and preparing test data
• Experience in all types of test documentation: Test Scenarios, Test Cases etc.
• Exposure towards Unix/Linux OS

Education

• BE/BTech/MCA degree or higher
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
