Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Executive Depot & Logistics OperationsLocation : Panipat (Haryana)
budget for this role is 8 9 LPA.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Selected candidate will provide support to the Operations Manager and Customer Experience manager. Support is defined as management of depot in North India as well as will be involved in interaction with the existing customers in North India. Individual has to apply principles of supply chain management, warehousing and transportation and customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The fundamental objective of depot executive is to accurately and effectively maintain inventory of Goodpack IBCs at the warehouses and customer locations.
The role of depot management encompasses the following:
Spearhead Logistics and Depot functions. Manage all related LSP's.
Build a safe and strong work environment and ensure daily dispatch schedules are met.
Work on MM module (SAP) by way of updating IBC movement transactions regularly and efficiently at depot level. Ensure systems are kept updated at all times.
Ensure depot adhere to standard depot SOPs.
Monitoring and optimizing throughput and quality output at depot level
Plan and communicate and execute the dispatch to customers.
Build repair capability as per Goodpack Global standards.
Work on Kaizens, Poka Yoke and 5S Initiatives.
Implementation of new programs at depot level as per global initiatives.
Supporting the Operations Manager on an as-needed basis.
Key responsibilities for CX profile.
Reconciliation of stock cards against system inventory to assigned Packers / Consignee's and to ensure accuracy.
Perform upload of S.O, shipment confirmation and ASN for proper recording of container movements.
Computing EH, Damage and Usage days at Packer / consignee
Ensure that Packer adheres to APO guidelines, have team meetings, and monitor inventory ageing.
KPIs for this particular role:
100% inbound boxes are tagged.
100% ID scanning of inbound/outbound and damaged scan data upload and monitoring in GEMS.
Quality rejects
Damage scan quality
Assisting customer service team during visits to critical end users to reduce the instances of damages and education program at end user and new packer level.
Achieve reject return rate of less than 1% and damaged bill of greater than 95% on monthly basis.
Train & develop staff and material handlers of LSP warehouse on Goodpack operating process and procedures.
System vs Monthly depot stock reconciliation. Stock details SKU wise to be maintained at all times. Records to nationalized stock and stock under bond to be maintained.
Planning and execution of daily dispatches. Turn around the bins arriving at the depot and decreases the dwell time of the bins at the depot.
Spear head initiative of repairs and maintenance of the bins at the depot keeping the cost in control.
Co-ordinate with the Logistics team on the collection plan from different consignees and track the same in transit till it reaches the depot.
Work on operational issues and complaints raised by the customer, suggest, and implement interim corrective actions and permanent corrective actions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Any Degree with overall 8- 10 years of experience in logistics industry, preferably with 5 to 7 years with depot / warehouse related operations.
Proficient in SAP MM Module.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Should possess skills to manage operations related vendors and lead team of people at the warehouse.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Words and PowerPoint.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external parties, which include IT personnel, controllers, auditors and finance team.
