QA Engineer (mobile iOS, Android) Remote Work @ Selotsoft

You will work remotely with development team as a Test Engineer you will take up end- to- end ownership of the designated project and help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for designing and developing automation test cases, test harnesses and tools for highly optimized and effective test coverage for the product on all platforms and OS for Mobile App and Web App.

Requirements:

Specific Responsibilities:

1) Test planning and Test Design (Creation and prioritization of Test scenarios/ Test cases).

2) Developing test plans for a communications platform built using nodeJS and javascript related technologies such as React.js

3) Execution of Test cases.

4) Expertise in Test Automation Tools Cucumber/Java, Selenium, Appium,SoapUI & JMeter.

5) Develop, execute and maintain automated tests and test harnesses to ensure high quality.

6) Good Knowledge AWS cloud technologies Lambda/API Gateway/Dynamo DB/SNS/SQS. Rest API testing skills using Rest Assured.

Essential Skills:

1) Should have sound knowledge and understanding of QA Processes, STLC and SDLC.

2) Should be able to design Test Plan, Test Specification and Test Cases document for product or product feature.

3) 5+ years Hands on experience on Mobile/ Web Application Testing.

4) Strong functional knowledge of IOS & Android OS .

5) Should have good knowledge of Cloud/ Web platform.

6) Good functional knowledge of Programming in Java .

7) Hands on experience on Scripting Languages: Python / Shell.

8) Automation Tools and Frameworks : UI Automator/ Appium/ TestNG.

9) Ability to review code and provide meaningful feedback.

10) Strong written and oral communication skills including proactive, positive work attitude.

11) Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgement.

12) Is resourceful and is able to come up with alternative solutions, when addressing problems.

13) Is able to effectively support the team in achieving team goals remotely.
