Client of Cygnus Staffing Solutions a leading Global MNC in under ground Heavy Engineering Projects looking forProcurement Manager - Head Procurement
Responsibilities:
- Supply chain, Procurement, Logistics, Sourcing, Vendor Development
- Procurement of direct and indirect items, goods, and services
- Sourcing, customs clearance, imports, CHA handling
- Demand and procurement planning, order management, Supplier handling, Site operations
- Logistics for various modes/product categories; break Bulk and Container movement, automotive and engineering goods.
- Site logistics, bulk, and container movement, 3PL logistics,
- Vendor Selection & evaluation, Tendering, Negotiation, Ordering & Expediting
- Budgeting, cost control, Project management & controls, contract management execution & administration.
- Supply chain management involving sourcing, material planning, logistics, vendor management, techno-commercial negotiation
- Align supply chain and procurement strategy of the organization
- Plan and execute project/ product supplies for Sites
- Supervising in the Process Implementation across the organization related to procurement and managing the activities related to P2P (Procure to Payment)
- Planning & managing the overall procurement of material and production requirements; establishing inventory level goals for assigned materials, initiating action for levels reviews in dynamic business scenario
- Plan the supply chain in accordance with RFXs, manufacturing cycle and TAT
- Develop SOPs, Vendor management and evaluation.
- Contract management and execution of indigenous and offshore supplies and services
- Managing imports, customs clearance, filing of BoE for project and operations supplies
- Coordinate with OEM, shipper, freight forwarder, container freight station (CFS) and logistics service provider (LSP) to facilitate timely and efficient delivery of consignment at site
- Minimizing detention and demurrage charges, handling customs queries and resolution
- Vendor management and evaluation, quality compliance with packaging and transportation
- Analyze, finalize and manage costs and ensure SCM within the given budget and quality standards
- Expedite supply chain activities, resolve commercial issues, cost optimization
- Imports, filing BoE, customs clearance for incoming project materials
- Contract management and quality compliance; resolution of contractual issues & contract closure
- Contract closure and resolve legal and contractual disputes, Finalize and present reports to the management
- Handling and facilitating arbitration/ legal proceedings
- Plan, align and executing logistics & procurement plan as per respective vertical's requirement
- Plan and execute supply chain and logistics plan for plants and sites in line with organization plans and objectives
- Customs clearance by initiating high seas sales, filing BOE, statutory, Customs/EPCG/DGFT queries resolution for Mega and Ultra Mega projects, integrating procurement and logistics
- Monitor project supplies and services for indigenous and offshore vendors, expedite activities and milestones
- Coordinate with OEM, shipper, freight forwarder, container freight station (CFS) and logistics service provider (LSP) to facilitate timely and efficient delivery of consignment at site
- Finalize RFXs and integrate procurement and logistics activities, expediting activities at various levels
- Empanel potential vendors, vendor management & evaluation, finalizing techno-commercial negotiations
- Integrating international and indigenous procurement and logistics activities to ensure seamless operations
- Vehicle placement, mode identification orders fulfilment, bulk and ODC cargo management
- Optimize logistics operations for efficient delivery and internal/ external customer satisfaction
- Operations planning, Production planning & Supplies planning
Experience : 10 to 15 years from Tunneling, Heavy Engineering / Irrigation Projects.
CTC : Negotiable
Job Location : New Delhi, Gurgaon, NCR.
