Software Engineer - Nagpur - Hitachi Ltd. - 5

We are seeking Software Engineers to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering team. In this role, they will be responsible for developing Digital transformation / IIoT based solutions software for Metals/steel /Other industry as per details below.

Responsibilities

• Software and code development in C/C++, C# and Python for Digital transformation solutions.

• Contribute to functional specifications and participate in reviews of functional designs

• Collaborate with team members to communicate any idea, enhancement, concept, identified bug fixes needed for the products

• Provide assistance to other team members as needed to configure and troubleshoot DX/IIoT applications

Requirements

Experience And Skills

• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science background.

• Candidate should have 5-9 years of experience working preferably (but not mandatory) on Digital Transformations Software development for the steel industry application (Hot Rolling Mills/Cold Rolling Mills/Processing Lines etc).

• Person should have a passion for exploring and learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

• Experience with RESTful web services or microservices

Candidate should have hands on proven experience on following:

• Programming Languages: - Proficient in: C/C++, Python, C#

• Technology/Framework/Tools: Django, Angular, ASP.NET

• Database: Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, PL/SQL, MySQL, ORACLE 12c

• Web Technology/others: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON
