Opening For Piping Cadworx Engineer @ Classic Search

Job Description

(JD) 1. Familiar with various activities involved & work flow in Piping & Layout Design. Understanding of basic input documents e.g. Basis of Design (BOD), P & ID, PMS, line list, Equipment vendor drawings, etc. 2. Knowledge of International codes and standards like API, ASME, IBR, etc. 3. Competency in Concept Design, Detailed Engineering for Chemical plants, Skid packages, etc. 4. Competency in performing Study Piping independently using basic documents like P & ID, Conceptual layout. Capability of handling project independently. 5. Competency in 3D modelling by using CADWorx Plant professional 2018. Hand on experience in Piping & Equipment modelling, Pipe support (Primary & Secondary) modelling, Civil & Structural modelling, Electrical & Instrument cable trays modelling, Junction boxes & control panels modelling, etc. 6. Knowledge of additional 3D Software like PDMS, SP3D will be an added advantage. 7. Knowledge of various design review software like Navisworks, Smart plant review, etc. 8. Competency in extracting drawings from 3D model e.g. Piping & Equipment layout using Orthogen & Isometrics drawings using Isogen. 9. Competency in extracting various reports from 3D model e.g. Bill of material, Valve list, Line list, etc. using MS-Access. 10. Creating piping specifications in CADWorx. Creating catalogues for non-standard items. 11. Competency in support design, support type selection from the various Standard pipe supports. 12. Familiar with Piping Material Specification & Valve Material Specification. 13. Interdisciplinary review of various internal documents like Foundation layout, Structural layouts, P & ID, Instrument hook up drawings and other applicable document etc. 14. Review & providing comments on Equipment Vendor drawings, Instrument drawings, Package Vendor drawings, etc.
