Job Description
Location: Belapur, Navi Mumbai
Responsibilities Qualification : BE , MSC (IT) Data-Base Administrator (Oracle 12c,13c)
POSITION SUMMARY :
This role is responsible for implementing customer strategy, architectures, and the ongoing operations and maintenance of Data-Base technologies (Oracle 12c,13c 19c) on premise.
This role is responsible for configuration, ongoing maintenance, monitoring and root cause analysis of Data-base Cluster Architecture to ensure banking business services (Multi-Vendor Software) perform as expected and can scale as business grows. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and administer Oracle Enterprise Management (12c,13c,19c) Oracle Enterprise Database 12c and newer, RAC, Restart (SIHA), ASM, RMAN, Grid, DataGuard, Golden-Gate, OEM monitoring, scripting/automation; Operations and troubleshooting of Oracle and/or other SQL based database systems including upgrading, patching, installation, and configuration, and backup and recovery operations.
Operations and troubleshooting of WebLogic and/or Tomcat application server including upgrading, patching, installation and configuration, and application deployments.
Provide support to end users as needed with database issues, troubleshooting, special configurations, etc.
Assist with the installation/configuration/maintenance of application server software and applications in an n-Tier environment that includes WebLogic, Tomcat, and Apache.
Application upgrades and reconfiguration based on application life cycle and product requirements.
Detect and facilitate restoration of database failure and other mission critical outages; insuring the consistency and integrity of file systems.
Monitor and maintain backup systems that provide the means for ensuring the service level agreement is met for shortest time to recover.
User account maintenance and security reviews.
Working with Production End Point Team and Application data owner's regularly reviewing roles and adjusting permissions and privileges with regard to changes.
Documentation of changes to be maintained and all changes need a change approval with the change committee, Database server configurations, application server configuration, and connected third party application configurations.
Install, upgrade, configure, automate and support the Oracle Enterprise Database technologies Identify and recommended critical patches that apply to the Oracle Enterprise Database technology stack.
Develop patching plan and execute said plan in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and provide timely solution for support problems in production and non-production environments (UAT,Training, Development etc.) and escalate wherever necessary.
Monitor logs for data-base systems for root cause analysis. Implement and administer security best practices while designing solutions, configuring/running scripts and fulfilling audit requests.
Create, maintain and update strong technical documentation and procedures following the IS department standards Partner with Business Process, Infrastructure, and Application Development teams to use technology to solve business problems Manage and work around issues or roadblocks in any phases of the SDLC lifecycle of the projects
Implement Banks prescribed security configurations documents, which shall be subjected to continuous/periodical security review/upgradation and must close.
Experience:
5+ years of experience with the following is required: Oracle R12 (12.2), Database (11gR2 19c), WebLogic, DB performance tuning, ERP architecture, Availability & Maintenance, Backup & Recovery, ERP and DB Security, monitoring, other aspects of DB ERP and DB administration, management of OLTP and DW DBs, manage large data loads/DBs, audit, SQL & LINUX scripting. Working knowledge of Oracle WebLogic 12c, Fusion Middleware and WebLogic Diagnostic Framework (WLDF) 5+ years of working experience on Oracle RAC/ASM/ Data Guard/ RMAN Backups and Restore/OEM
Working knowledge of Linux Scripting, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Kerberos or Active Directory
Experience and knowledge with working in an Exadata environment.
Working knowledge of Linux (SuSe) and Windows operating systems.
