Job Description

Overall Job Purpose Statement:

1. To take specific responsibility of all activities related to Production, Formulations, Filling & Packing.

2. Planning, Scheduling, Organizing and achieving the monthly planned production.

3. Preparation of Shift Schedule of employees, maintaining the attendance, overtime etc.

4. Preparation of Production related all MIS, Machine utilization report, Breakdown details, Waste Management, Manpower utilization.

5. Planning of preventive maintenance for the machinery

6. Preparation and maintenance of all records for various certifications like CGMP/ ISO 22716/ EHS/ ISO 14001/5S.

Nature & Scope of the job:

1. This is a key position for Organizing, Planning, Co-ordination, Control and Direction of production activities/formulations such as Tablets, Capsules, gel, liniments syrups, suspensions etc.

2. Responsible for planning and execution of all activities to meet the targeted production on weekly basis/Month wise.

3. Ensure shop floor discipline.

4. Providing training to the subordinate team members in the areas of working in modern machinery, hygiene standards and practices asper WHO GMP guidelines.

5. Preparation of standard BMR, BPR in the area of above products.

6. Work hand in hand with QA and QC departments to ensure quality of products.

7. Suggest changes required to add value in any related area and better utilization of resources.

8. Reduce rejections other than technical reasons to zero.

9. Coordinate with other Departments for smooth operations.
