JD - Lead - Middle Office Conversions
Job Description:
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Capital markets Middle & Back Office is key
- Great Understanding of Securities, Loans, IBOR/ABOR, Transaction Management
- Excellent Knowledge & Experience on platforms like IBOR/ABOR, Eagle, Eagle Star, PAM, Portia
- Lead/participate in meetings at the operational and project level with management and project sponsors to discuss strategy and relevant supporting details
- Work with business users to develop and provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes
- Manage data analysis and data conversion of new Clients to an in-house Middle Office system
- Own the data conversion development lifecycle and methodology. This includes requirements analysis, solution design, client acceptance, timeline creation, implementation, unit testing, deployment tools, and maintenance
- Assist Project Manager/Coordinator in the creation and tracking of the data conversion plan
- Ability to create data maps, to map the data flow from legacy systems to the in-house systems using existing functionality and processes
- Review inputs and outputs from the conversion process, and communicate issues internally and externally as required
- Identify issues and gaps in data provided or discrepancies in data between legacy presentation and the future state model, and recommend corrective actions
- Manage the conversion planning and testing of the conversion process
- Manages the actual conversion tests and dress rehearsals
- Manages the actual live conversions onto the Client platform
- Responsible for project team execution of all project deliverables (requirements, design, etc.)
Job Qualification:
- 7+ years of relevant Financial Industry Experience required, preferably Investment Management, Asset Management
- Excellent Communication Skills with good external and internal client interfacing skills
- Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
- Superior organizational and planning skills; Ability to take a project from inception to completion
- Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
- Experience working on projects related to Middle & Back Office Client On boarding
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access skills, as well as Microsoft Project or other project management software experience
Education Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance & Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology
- MBA in Finance, Management, Business Administration
