Job Summary:
Build and manage supply chain & logistics as per Business demand and achieving cost leadership for HFL Non Dairy business with an objective to achieve the budgeted business targets and customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Effective selection and management of suppliers that support lean manufacturing processes.
- Diagnose and support the needs of external supply chain partners
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
- Monitor supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- Design or implement and document new or improved supply chain processes such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
- Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
- Complete Warehouse Management across geographies where the company is present.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, and quality assurance
- Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Review or update supply chain practices by new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Monitor forecasts to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
- Monitor product flows and collaboratively respond to potential delivery problems
- Confer with production planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure the availability of materials or products.
- Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
Required Qualification & Experience:
- B-Tech / MBA from a reputed university or B School
- 6 - 8 Yrs. of experience within Supply chain function at an All India level.
- Foundational experience in top FMCG companies
