Description of Role:
The Technology organization within Enhance IT (EIT) is responsible for specifying, developing, and maintaining our internal IT platforms. In this role, youll be responsible for working in our core systems through every stage of the SDLC from an Agile/Scrum perspective. This includes active roles in requirements & backlog analysis; architecture and design; Scrum execution off a Sprint backlog; and production deployment, operations, and support.
This role reports to the Vice President, Technology
Responsibilities:
- Work in all phases of the SDLC from both perspectives of traditional PM to Agile/Scrum and even Kanban.
- Deliver features on time, on budget, and with acceptable levels of quality.
- Create automated unit test cases with an eye to Test Drive Development.
- Work with the business on UAT and Release planning.
- Always maintain proper Source Control.
- Estimate work effort for any feature with the source as the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Use Case / Story Points, Business Requirements Document (BRD), or Defect tracker.
- Always maintain proper technical documentation, including without limitation business requirements / product backlog, architecture, design, delivery plans / Sprint backlog, user manuals, technical support documentation, and productions operations / run books.
Qualifications:
- 8+ Years as a Full Stack developer for a major IT Services organization.
- Expert in Java Script technologies, especially including Angular JS and Node.JS.
- Expert in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Knowledge of Python and Big Data, Data Science topics preferred but not required.
- Solid knowledge of SQL, with PostgresSQL as a preferred database platform.
- Knowledge of dev management tools such as Jira and Github highly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins preferred but not required.
- Experience working in an environment of at least CMMl3 a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English required
