Job Description
:- An opportunity to head Engineering activities for the plant
- Leadership Role which reports into the Plant Head
Client Details :
- Our client is a Multi-Billion Global MNC with its presence in more than 50+ countries worldwide and has a dedicated R&D/Product Engineering facility in India along with a manufacturing plant
Description :
- Lead the Engineering & Maintenance department for the global MNC's Gujarat plant
- Responsible for Equipment Maintenance and management plan, usage of new equipment's as well as capacity expansion projects in plant
- Provide guidance to subordinates to do safety education, safety detection, employee health and ensure PPE are correctly used to avoid safety accidents
- Prepare Systematic working plan, arrange employees to conduct prevention maintenance to ensure all safety of all equipment's during production
- Arrange manpower and work in co-ordination with the manufacturing department to ensure on time emergency maintenance service provided in order to ensure seamless production
- Responsibility to work along with supplier partners and be involved in technical negotiation as well as installation management in case of new equipment's and check equipment's to ensure highest quality
- Accountability for safety of external equipment suppliers/installation operators to avoid mishaps.
- Be accountable for small scale equipment installation, ensure installation quality meets the technical use needs of manufacturing department
- Prepare Engineering/Maintenance department annual budget and efficiently manage and control department cost
- Adopt innovative methods to control maintenance cost and reduce maintenance fee- Accountable for department 5S management to meet the needs of organisation 5S requirement
- Organising and Co-ordinate department training, performance appraisal in order to increase employee operation skills.
Profile :
- Engineering Professional with 12-15 years of relevant experience in Engineering/Maintenance and exposure of having working in a Refractory Furnace with 5+ years of Department Management experience
- Expertise in Maintenance & Project Equipment Management
- Excellent Communication & Co-ordination Skills
- Expertise in Project Management and Department Budget Management
