Software Technologist I/II @ Philips India

• Drive the development activities for the project.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing testable, scalable and efficient code
• Maintain up to date code documentation
• Guide the team from Technical perspective and provide the mentorship to the juniors.
• Proactively come up with new ideas and design thinking and act as a lead in case needed.
• Should have previous knowledge of working on complex project along with big team where coordination is required.
• Should be daily involved in all the technical activities like code review, design review , technical feasibility etc.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Must Have :

• The Person should be very well versed with coding knowledge on JAVA (J2SE,J2EE)
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
• Must have worked on technologies stack like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and backend micro services
• Deployment of applications using Docker, Kubernetes & AWS
• Should have very good knowledge around micro service Architecture and REST Api creation and deployment on cloud
• Should have worked on Cloud services of AWS or Azure
• Should have very good communication skills & be a good team player
• Well versed with source control tools like GIT, BitBucket

Good to Have

• Deployment of applications using Docker, Kubernetes & AWS
• Knowledge on Ansible /Terraform
• Should have very good communication skills & be a good team player
