Disaster Recovery lead - Delhi - Amdocs - 10

The job includes the following duties:

Managing Disaster Recovery in Amdocs
o Work with Business Continuity management to ensure that the disaster recovery and business continuity plans drive disaster recovery (DR) strategy and procedures.
o Establish and maintain the overall plans for executing all DR procedures and understand their interdependencies.
o Establish and maintain detailed DR communications and command and control plans through a change management process.
o Work with the IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle.
o Develop, understand, and implement all testing necessary for a successful DR execution.
o Schedule and lead all DR exercises.
o Improvement and optimization of existing DR solutions and services
o Help ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and contractual commitments to customers.
o Operate in a complex environment due to global distributed components that are in dependency with various systems and end users (Internal and external)

Analyzing:
o Existing DR plans and processes; identify gaps and recommend future development programs
o Validating that the DR solutions plans are aligned with the BCP regarding systems and services.
Supporting:
o Support DR activations.
o Represent disaster recovery cost requirements in the annual budgeting process.
o Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities to upper management.
o Act as liaison for auditing and examination of disaster recovery processes.
