Purpose of the Job
To ensure the smooth functioning of QA including documentation and assurance of brand compliances on Trueview portal. Communication with stakeholders to achieve technical excellence and meet quality standards and brand expectations
Principal Accountabilities
Thorough knowledge and awareness about current practices and standards across food processing
Participation in supplier on-boarding processes as per food safety standards and efficient supply processes
Ensure suppliers are consistently conforming to with Yum and regulatory specification for Physico-chemical and Microbiological attributes
Manage specifications, product evaluations, and compliances by working with the suppliers
Active participation in Food safety management at stores, supplier sites, distribution centres by visits, audits as required and ensuring that GMP, GHP, pest control, & Quality assurance programs are in place
Ensure restaurant quality by coordinating product complaint process and follow through
Provide food safety advice and solutions to restaurant, suppliers, distribution centres for effective handling of food safety issues
Demonstrates understanding of product development activities with suppliers, Yum product development team and supports operations team during execution
Supports execution of projects for cost reduction and ensuring no compromise of Food safety standards Support organization in formulating short-long term plans/strategies for maximizing customer satisfaction, ensuring food safety & quality as per Yum global mandates, Regulatory environment
Database management for suppliers for audits, specifications, product cuttings, complaints etc.
Conducting necessary calibration and validations of equipment, small wares as per the brand guardrails.
Driving improvements in DCs (Dry, Chilled and Frozen) in terms of infrastructure and documentation to achieve high performance audit results
Coordinate crisis management in case of Food safety Crisis
Conduct Back to Basic Programs to keep both equity and franchisee operators focused on QA standards.
Prepare appropriate response in consultation with experts to specific consumer queries related to food safety and Quality.
Roll out QA processes intended to build product quality and improve food safety scores.
Liase with 3rd party labs for food sampling, water sampling, swab test etc.
Takes personal accountability for timely delivery of results
